I am chef today ^_^

Posted by Janine at 00:55 0 comments
After I leave home to KL, I had been losing appetite. Partly because I missed home cooked food. So I went to Tesco with my roommate, Veronica. We bought some vegetables to cook at home.

This morning we both went library for a short study session. ( but turn out both of us not 100% concentrating on study hahaha~) When the clock turn to 12, both of us felt hungry and agreed to go home for lunch.

We decided to cook fried cabbage and tomato fried egg. I am in charge in chopping up the ingredients and fry cabbage while Veronica cook rice and fry tomato egg.

My cutting and cooking skill improve during my holiday (typically I cook dinner everyday). I chopped up the carrots very fast (before that I gotta used the whole night to finish chopping LOL). I even got praised by Veronica (BWAHAHAHA~~).

So this is our result.

Its so so so yummy! We basically cleaned all of them out!
Not a tiny bit left.

Home cooked food always the best. And my lost appetite suddenly gain back. Increases alot somemore. See~~the attraction of home cooked food~love it ♥ ♥ !!!

My stressful life begin

Posted by Janine at 02:36 0 comments
The first day I started school, my lecturer gave a briefing of our module for this year to us.

He started on how difficult this year is, how much effort we should put in, how many reports and assignments we need to hand out & how many exams we are going through.

Okay. I admit I look like an idiot when I heard of all these things. With my mouth wide open and my blank expression.

I am now in the third day of class and I had already couldn't catch up of what lecturer is saying.

That's a great start. HAHA *emotionless*

I promised myself I will make sure I pass my second year.

I don't have a choice. I am the last batch of this course and if I failed, I can't repeat my year any more.

I simply got to drop out. Waste 2 years time and 2 years fee.

NO! I WON'T REPEAT THE SAME MISTAKE AGAIN!

I will 100% concentrate in class, revise the notes after class and put in effort when doing reports and assignments.

This is my aim for this year.

So wish me good luck.

I ♥ Runningman

Posted by Janine at 10:00 0 comments
For those who don't know about Runningman, its a famous game show in Korea. The Runningman fever even spread all over the world. A lot of my friends are crazy about Runningman too and all of us always pray Runningman will come to Malaysia one day.

I was fan of Runningman a few years ago when Runningman just started to air at 11th July 2010. It just become famous as it was a never-before-seen new genre of variety shows. The producer of Runningman simply genius to think of all sorts of exciting game which includes name tag tearing (which is the most classic game) and complete missions in a landmark to win the race.

At first, I like Yoo Jae Suk the best. He is one of the most popular MC(host) in Korea that had zero negative news. There isn't anyone who can't love him when see him. After so many years indulging into Runningman, I get to know all Runningman members better. I began to love all of them and I damn hate guest coming to this show that will split the airtime of Runningman members. But now my favourite is Lee Kwang Soo. I will explain why later.

Click here to view the complete profile of Runningman members.

See how cute they looks~

Left to right : Lee Kwang Soo(giraffe), Jihyo(ace), Ji Suk Jin(big nose hyung),
Kim Joong Kook(sparta!),Yoo Jae Suk(grasshopper),
Haha(haroro), Gary(the rapper)

So pity the most handsome guy Song Joong Ki left Runningman last year. He want to focus on acting. Now left no more lengzai to see in Runningman ler~T_T Just now I mentioned about my favourite Lee Kwang Soo. He is the common betrayer with Haha and big nose hyung. He had a knack to make people laugh. His image in Runningman always looks pity(so kesian~), betraying people and bully Kim Joong Kook (always my pleasure to watch it hahaha~).

The monday couple, Jihyo and Gary is also my favourite. They act like a real couple in Runningman and Gary always caring & gentle to Jihyo. This makes him so attractive despite of his ugly modest face lol. Although sometimes they are opponent, Gary still will purposely let Jihyo off (how sweet~~♥). When there is couple race, they always be a team (the producer knows better muahahaha~).

In one of the episodes.....

 OMG Gary kissed Jihyo!!! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

The close up. My heart thumping so fast OMFG.
Like I'm the one who being kissed (don't duh me pls~><)

Runningman is such a great show! I hope it will be continued forever and ever♥. And please the producer of Runningman, I sincerely asking you here to let Runningman come to Malaysia!!! I will pray for you forever and ever ever if you make this happen LOL.

Hair rebonding at Chrizen Hair Studio@Sunway Giza, Kota Damansara

Posted by Janine at 01:53 0 comments
I was borned with curly hairs(from my mum). I hated them because the curls are so small and ugly. So I started to do hair rebonding when I was 12 and never look back. It is sooooo frustrating when my hair grows and start to curl at roots. When I was despo, I even tried to wet my fringe to make it stick at my forehead so that it won't curls.

At first, I do rebonding once a year. And then I couldn't stand my hair starts to curl after 3 months (my hair grows like weed ToT). I started to do touch up rebonding every 6 months.

Do hair rebonding is so expensive and I have to donate my kidney every time (imma just a poor student~~). Ever since I get to know group buys website like living socialgrouponmy deal etc, I started to obsess with those unbelievable cheap deals!

The most I buy is food deals of course lah~who ask me to love food so much~

But when get to the time I wanna to do rebonding, I will go to the group buy website searching for deals. Normally the price is around RM49~RM88. I won't buy the RM49 ones coz I know the quality will suck be no good. The price I bought is roughly RM70++.

Now I wanna talk about the deal I bought at living social for RM70 by Chrizen Hair Studio. It includes Hair Colouring / Rebonding / Highlight / Spa Perm / Relaxing + Seaweed Scalp Treatment + Wash + Blow. Sounds like a good deal right? Somemore its in Sunway Giza so near to my place. So I bought it without hesitance.

Last time I went back to KL, I took the chance and make appointment with the salon. The voucher's fine print mentions I need to reserve 3 days ahead. But I was so afraid that there will be no available slots so I book it a week advance (don't say me kiasu pls~~><).

So I went Chrizen Hair Studio after lunch.

This is the exterior of Chrizen Hair Studio. classy~

The reception

I was served by a friendly woman age agak-agak 30 something la. She invited me to sit down and served me a cup of tea while she prepared. I take a sip of the tea and just WOW. Its something like floral tea or fruit tea. Not so sure of it. But the taste is soooooo good! In the end, I drank the whole cup LOL.

The process takes about 2 hours. The seaweed scalp treatment is actually applied something like serum on scalp just for a minute after washing hair.

The salon lady keep intro me about the treatment which costs RM88. I know it will be like that because the deal is so cheap which they have to earn money through other way. Actually RM88 is considered a reasonable price but I was running out of budget this month so I declined the offer. The lady looks grumpy but didn't say anything (to my relief~phew~><).

The attitude of the salon lady deserved a 4 star as she didn't turn a black face after I said no to the treatment. But I do only touch up and didn't use a lot of chemicals so I think the salon no rugi oso lah~If not I will feel bad about it~

Overall, the salon is wide, spacious, clean with comfortable environment. It will be a pleasure to get your hair done here. The service was good too although the lady accidentally pull my hair too hard when straightening my hair with iron (ouch!).

So I would say this salon is recommended to go. But the original price of the salon is like the normal salon price, maybe cheaper than those star salon like number 76. If you want to get cheap deals like me, you can try living social. This is the website I usually go. And mind you, I am not advertising for them. I am just a long term supporter haha~

This is me just after I get my hair rebonded. Nice? =P

World of zombiesssssss

Posted by Janine at 10:52 0 comments
Because I am so free at home, I watched a movie named World War Z. It is cast by Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos and etc. It's story basically is an unknown virus spread around the world and caused the infected person turning into zombies. (I hope it does not happen in real world OMFG)

In this movie, Brad Pitt acts as Gerry Lane who is the ex United Nations investigators. He is asked to find out the source of this virus in term to keep his family alive. In the end, he discovered a way to be invisible to zombies. The way is to be infected by disease and the zombies will stay away from you. (Thank God!) Then the people started to fight back the zombies by burning them. (It's like zombies witches LOL~)

It is quite a good movie. The tempo is right and keep audience from yawning. I get too excited when watching this movie and I squeals alot LOL. When the zombies suddenly appeared I jumped and I was like WTF man! Sorry for the swear.

The best thing about this movie is I get to see the #handsome #fabulous #sexy Brad Pitt BWAHAHAHA. Sorry for being so sampat but you guys should know better since my blog title is sampat girl's diary =P. If I don't sampat who sampat?LOL

Here is the official trailer~Hope you enjoy it~

What I learned from this movie is zombies don't eat brains. They just grab your neck and bite it. (What the hell I am learning OMFG!) Ok la~~Its late at night and I gotta sleep.

So this is what I wanna dream tonight~
Super duper hot & sexy Brad Pitt!!hahaha~~

Goodnight folks! *yawn*

My ramen cravings

Posted by Janine at 05:27 0 comments
During my holidays, I spent a lot of time drooling at the food blogs.
It started with my ramen cravings. Argh! Ramen! So goooddddd~~~

I had research quite many of famous ramen restaurant. There's Menya Musashi in 1u, Santouka & Ippudo in Pavillion, and Goku Raku in Midvalley.

Among all of these restaurants, Menya Musashi attracts me the most. It is samurai themed restaurant.

Look! How catching is the restaurant exterior! Cool!

But got to plan it first coz budget problem~1 bowl of musashi's ramen cost at least RM20++!! This is me. Saves and scrapes at start then spend it all in a go. Haha~

I am now counting for the days to be back in KL. I definitely gonna try this restaurant! Why I didn't noticed it before? T_T next time gotta research first before I went out to make sure I won't cincai choose a restaurant that serve mediocre food. (that's as bad as eating stones, ehh nope~stones break teeth and food won't~lol)

And yeah~~my holiday is going to end~hope its not~>< I am growing onto my home now. Doesn't want to leave comfy warmy house. But hey~that's growing up~You can't stay at home forever feeding on your parents.

So, no matter how hard I hated going back wanted to stay, I still got to go back for my studies. Growing up sucks! Growing up makes me more independent. At least I still got good food to look forward to. ( I basically eat grass vegetarian food everyday at home)

Its been a while since I updated my blog last time. I had been slacking and lazying and dunno what to write about. LOL

I am currently having holiday, so I should have much time to write something but I didn't. Because my holiday is as boring as it could be. Staying home all day watching movies makes me feel unmotivated.
But I went back to KL last week and finally had something to do.

My lecturer asked us to come back for an interview he claimed to be VERY IMPORTANT. I sensed seriousness and rushed back to KL although I have to travel from my hometown. I found out it is really important as it concerned of my future OMG. (better dun leak out too much here~top secret hehe~~=P)

The resit exam for those who failed held on the same day with the interview. So a lot of people cannot make it for the interview. Turn out only 5 from our class including me attended it and 2 of us are from outstation. (Shame to my classmates who live in KL but pretended they are not free to come)

During the interview, I don't talk much. (Scared the more I say, the more I wrong~>< Just left it to the pro speaker la~=P) I just pray the interview is a success if not I and all my classmates are doom. T_T

I took the chance I am in KL and found a freelance job on weekend. (I am so poor with so little pocket money~of coz I need to work la~~><)

That experience was quite good actually. My job was gave out chocolate samples to people and promote it.
It was an easy job and I love the look on children when I handed out chocolate to them.
Kids are so cute~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ <3

But I dunno whether I can handle kids or not after I had one. >< Anyway, I finally earn some money to replenish my almost emptied bank account. (so kesian~T_T)
And I planned to go to all restaurants that I wanna go long time ago. (I even got a list~LOL)
But first I need to save money la~

By the way I went for rebonding too when I was around in KL. I bought a voucher from Living social. It was a deal of rebonding/relaxing/colouring/perm + scalp treatment + wash + blow. It was a GREAT deal! The downside was they didn't include haircut and their haircut price was seriously expensive! So I got my haircut at Muar for merely RM10 lol~I will blog my rebonding experience soon~

Here is my random selca after I get my hair rebonded.
